This specific pool refurbishment consists of changing old tiles to a new Alkorplan Touch liner, with a seating area added in front of the steps, a new terrace surrounding the pool, and a new pergola ending the job.

The new generation of liners provides the perfect finish to both new and pools that need refurbishment. Furthermore, the latest colour ranges give the pool an elevated and elegant look.

In this case, this pool started life as a Desjoyaux tiled pool. We initially upgraded the filtration system, adding traditional skimmers, return jets and a sand filter system to keep the pool water in immaculate condition.

The liner conversion consisted in changing the skimmers and return jets to liner-compatible ones. And adding bottom drains and lights, which were not included with the initial Desjoyaux pool. We cleaned and disinfected the walls and floor, then lined them so that shape of the tiles would not show through the new liner. We then added a liner lock track to mount the wall liner and a bench area in front of the steps at one end of the pool. Finally, we covered the pool’s base in Alkorplan Touch Authentic liner that our team welded head-to-head to give a seamless finish.
