Whats the perfect temperature for my pool?
The ideal temperature of a pool can vary depending on its use. For example if you are teaching children to swim or you have elderly relatives using the pool the a higher temperature is recommended but for general use the ideal temperature for pool water is between 26 and 28 degrees. Reaching this temperature can be a little difficult especially in the spring and Autumn months. The greater the volume of water your pool has the longer it will take to heat up in the spring so a large deep pool is not always a good idea if you are looking to extend your rental season into the shoulder month. There are various heating options available on the market but as a pool loses the majority of its heat through evaporation of the water it is really necessary to have some form of pool cover to both help heat the pool and help retain the heat especially over night or on colder days.

The ideal solution for guaranteeing you have a nice warm pool at all times is to install both systems so that you have heating when there is no sun and then free heating when there is sun.
Once the pool is warm it needs to be kept that way and this requires a pool cover to be installed. There is a large range of covers available depending on what their job is and what your budget is. The foam style cover does not help heat the pool but is better at insulating the pool than the bubble cover does.
